Handcrafted beers and gastronomic experiences
We have developed and customised menus that match perfectly with the various Ægir beers.
We have built our reputation on serving solid, traditional food, and we base our new menus on local ingredients such as lamb from Aurland, crabs from the Aurlandsfjord, raspberries from Flåm and goat cheese from Undredal.
To accompany your meal we heartily recommend one of our own handcrafted beers from Ægir Brewery. Our beer is also an important ingredient in marinades and sauces; the malt and hops add that extra tang to the food.
Our Ægir beers, which are brewed in some of the world's well known styles, suit all kinds of foods – light or dark, light or heavy, sweet or savoury.
We have brews that go well with fish, crabs and prawns; with tasty vegetarian dishes; with goat cheese; with red and white meat; and we even have ales that are outstanding accompaniments to chocolate cake and dessert.
