Flåm by car

Flåm is situated near the main road between eastern and western Norway. During the summer, you may take the scenic mountain road between Aurland and Lærdal, and enjoy the magnificent view from Stegastein over the Aurlandsfjord and into the mouth of the Nærøyfjord. During the winter, you get from Aurland to Lærdal via the world’s longest road tunnel.

The road between Aurland and Hol is also open year round – taking you to and from Geilo, Ål, Gol and Oslo.
